Fitness Basics: Ab Crunches

I get this query from a lot of people and hence am sharing it here with you all. So you are doing brisk walks, skipping, swimming, jogging etc. to burn your calories. But you also want to lose that paunch or tone up your tummy. Everyone will tell you to do ab crunches. It is pretty straightforward till here. But things begin to get difficult when you try to do those ab crunches at home. Your neck becomes stiff or your shoulders ache or your tummy hurts. After this either you give up on it, or think its normal and go ahead or try and find out the right way of doing those exercises. That’s where this post comes. I began writing about the correct way of doing abdominal crunches but then, thankfully, I realized that it would be like trying to teach someone how to taste a wine, in a textbook (!). I immediately logged on to good old you tube and fished out this video for you. There are a whole lot many videos of various exercises out there. Do check them out!
